Wanted: Big Game Hunter

By enormo.us on February 28th, 2011 | No comments yet 0

At enormo.us we know that if you want to tell really big stories you have to hunt for them. The most epic tales are out there waiting to be discovered, wrangled up and put on display for the world. But slaying the biggest beasts isn’t easy. It takes time, patience and expert tracking skills. And once the prize is captured, you have to keep it calm and happy in its new habitat.

That’s why we’re hiring a Big Game Hunter.

We’re looking for a badass beastmaster who is all business when it comes to roping the most unruly creatures. This mercenary for hire will work directly with the enormo.us founders to identify new opportunities, then head out into the wild and drag that Sasquatch back to base.

After a successful catch, the game hunter becomes a gamekeeper, overseeing the proper care and feeding of the beast. The perfect candidate must therefore have experience speaking its language and ensuring that the process is comfortable and humane.

This is a contract position with the potential for development into a part- or full-time opportunity. The position will require approximately 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and ability to work remotely. Qualifications of the ideal candidate:

  • experience with project/account management or sales
  • solid understanding of project management practices
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • fearless, able to approach the biggest and ugliest creatures
  • the ability to reason and deal with a group of creative minds

Are you ready to seize this rare opportunity to work with enormo.us? Then suit up Boba Fett, because we need a bounty hunter.

How Syracuse U’s foursquare Badge Became Awesome

By enormo.us on January 26th, 2011 | 2 Comments

News was announced this week that Syracuse University would become only the third college to launch its own foursquare badge. We are proud to say that enormo.us was tapped to design the look of the badge for SU, especially because all three founders of enormo.us graduated from Syracuse — two are currently working on master’s degrees from the iSchool at SU and one teaches there.

enormo.us produced a lot of cool designs for the badge, and we’re glad SU decided to go with one of our ‘Cuse 44 options. This is the most legendary number at Syracuse University. Some of our other designs may show up in the future, so stay tuned as SU keeps rocking foursquare.

Merry F’n Christmas

By enormo.us on December 14th, 2010 | There is 1 comment

Every family has that one crazy relative who shows up for the holidays. He probably smells like booze, hasn’t washed his hair for as long as you’ve known him, and he’s dropping f-bombs in front of grandma and the kids while ranting about communists or alien abductions.

In our family, that relative is graFighters. This bastard stepchild operates out of a corner at enormo.us HQ. They walk around with no shoes on, eat week-old sandwiches and do nothing but play flash games all day.

But they did make an awesome holiday t-shirt. You should buy it.
Merry Christmas, you filthy animal.
